Founder & Principal
Paul W. Boyer, a professional negotiator for more than 25 years, is the founder and principal of Negotiate Solutions LLC.
Paul has negotiated billions of dollars’ worth of deals and contracts over the course of his career as a senior commercial attorney and executive.
He brings a wealth of real world experience and credibility having been in the trenches negotiating strategic agreements and partnerships with some of the biggest names in the technology, retail and financial industries including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Apple, Samsung, BlackBerry, AT&T, Huawei, LG, Qualcomm, Starbucks, McDonalds, Subway, Macy’s, Jamba Juice, Toys "R" Us, American Airlines, Hyatt Hotels, American Express and Citibank among many others. Paul has also negotiated significant contracts with foreign governments, international banks and major U.S. exporters.
Prior to launching Negotiate Solutions LLC, Paul served as Associate General Counsel of Softcard (the mobile payments joint venture formed by AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon whose assets were purchased by Google in 2015), Senior Director of Legal Affairs at T-Mobile, Director of International Alliances at MCI, Assistant General Counsel of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and a commercial associate with the law firm of Miles & Stockbridge.
Paul is an experienced and engaging public speaker and educator. He has been a faculty member presenting at numerous Law Seminars International CLE programs, a trained facilitator for T-Mobile’s Get More Commitment values and leadership workshops and a lecturer for three semesters for the International Project Finance course at American University’s Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Paul also has a reputation for his April Fool’s pranks.
Paul received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School and holds an M.A. in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia.
